# Desligando o RE Emiter

As per the pictures from the video call it looks like the error detection at the range extender controller is activated.

This error function is normally deactivated, it probably has never been deactivated at the commissioning time.

So to avoid future issues it must be deactivated the following way:

1. switch off the RE control box – please note this may affect the measurement during boiler operation!
2. dismount the RE controller;
3. you can open the RE controller;
4. switch off the DIP switch S1 / 1 – must be OFF.
